On Friday, April 15th, we met back at the Carranor for our weekly meeting and we had the great pleasure of being greeted by Rotarian Jeri Wendt.  Jeri not only served as our weekly greeter but she was our fine master for the week.  Jeri gave us an inspirational vocational on how she has overcome adversity in her personal life and turned her personal experiences into a passion for helping others by serving on the board of the Cocoon Shelter.  In addition to her community services, she also owns and operates Jeri Wendt & Associates!

Our guest speaker for the week was Bethany Deakins from Live Well Toledo.  Bethany was a wealth of knowledge and provided us a great deal of information regarding the Healthy Corner Store and the Complete Streets program.  Their mission and impact to the community is profound and they are continuing to make strides to better the City of Toledo.

Be sure to join this week where our guest speaker will be Lori Hauser, CEO of the Imagination Station.

Have a great week and see you at Rotary!

As we head towards the end of the month, we will all be looking forward to a little fellowship, food and drinks at Poco Piatti!  Be sure to clear your schedules and join us on April 25th, from 5 pm - 7 pm for Rotary After Hours @ Poco.  This successful fellowship event has been a great addition to our monthly Rotary Calendar!
