You do not need to be a member of the Rotary Club of Houston to attend, and please feel free to invite your colleagues!

***The Fed is Coming, The Fed is Coming***

 

This month we are very exicted to have as our guest speaker, Matt Davies of the Federal Reservie Bank of Dallas.  This is a must attend event for any interested in the state of the economy, at the local, state, and federal levels.    Space is very limited, and this event will be a sell-out, so please register early to secure your place.

 

Matt will present on the economic outlook, touching on the key apsects of the economy, and discuss the dual mandate of the central bank, and report on the progress on each part of the dual mandate.  He will provide an overview of the current monetary policy discussions in light of the economic outlook, and also touch on household consumption, housing, manufactuirng, trade, and government.

 

Matt Davies, CTP, AAP, CPP, is an Assistance Vice President at the Federal Reserve Bank of Dallas.  He has 21 years of experience inthe payments industry.  18 of those wit the Federal reserve Banks.  He has also served as ACH & Wire Product Manager for a commercial bank, and as a product manager in the bankcard industry.

 

A natice of St. Louis, Missouri, Matt graduated from William Jewell College in Liberty, Missouri, with a Bachelor of Arts in Political Science and History in 1997, and from the Graduate Shcool of Banking at the University of Wisconsin, Madison in 2013.  He currently serves on the board of directors for Jubilee Park & Community Center in Dallas.
