Hello Vestal Rotarian! This year marks the 25th anniversary of that tragic day in our country's history. This presents us with an opportunity to NEVER FORGET those we lost on September 11th, 2001 and help with the 16th Annual Binghamton Fire 9/11 Memorial Stair Climb. In lieu of our meeting that WILL NOT HAPPEN on Labor Day, we have offered to assist the organizers by providing volunteers for the event being held on Sunday, Sept 13th (see the attached flyer). We are looking for 6-8 volunteers from Vestal Rotary to fill this need for volunteerism and bring to life our motto of Service Above Self! Volunteers will be assigned their tasks upon arrival by the organizers. Parking is available in the main parking lot at the Mirabito Stadium and entry is at the gates adjacent to the parking lot. The event is generally over before 1PM. Please send me a reply to this email ASAP if you want to join the volunteer team! I need this ON OR BEFORE Monday, August 31st so we know they are set with what they need for volunteers! DON'T wait… send you reply when you read this! Thank you in advance for joining us! They will cover the larger projects within the region as well as the NY 17 Bridge Approach Slabs Replacement Project in Vestal. Both Bill and Jillian have years of experience, steeped in DOT's public outreach and meeting with members of the public to share information on our projects - discussing projects plans, goals, impacts, and outcomes with a focus on our how our work is helping to strengthen our transportation infrastructure, improve safety and mobility for motorists and pedestrians and ultimately better connect our communities. |
