Michele Berg named deputy general secretary
Michele Berg has been selected to help lead Rotary’s operations as deputy general secretary. In this role, she will work alongside General Secretary John Hewko to ensure effective internal operating policies and implement strategies and programs.  In her previous role as Rotary’s chief programs and member services officer, Berg led a team of more than 150 staff members who support membership development, learning and development, and programs. Rotary condemns deadly attack on polio security personnel in Pakistan
Rotary members and our partners in the fight to eradicate polio offer our heartfelt condolences and express a deep sadness in the wake of a horrific bomb attack in Quetta, Pakistan, that took the lives of at least 15 security personnel on 13 January. This tragic attack outside a polio immunization center is a stark reminder of the dangers faced by Rotary, our partners in the Global Polio Eradication Initiative, and the brave women and men on the front lines of our effort to protect all children from the paralyzing effects of polio. Rotary events are a great way to network and showcase your products/services. If you would like to market your services or products at our 5th Annual Taste of Teaneck to be held on April 18th, at the Teaneck Marriott Hotel, from 6-9:30pm - this is the time.  Our restaurant showcase,tricky tray and entertainment is known to bring in over 300 guests that will see your name and products/services presented at the event. For a basket  or certificate to have its full donor name listed in the program to be selected, it must be of $75.00 or more in value. We also have a table for high end products/services of $200 and up.

Thank you everyone who supported Teaneck Rotary Club Annual Dinner Dance on December 3 at Biagio's. Thank you for supporting your effort in raising funds for the DR/ Haiti Burn Care Network.  We had a little over 200 guests who came out to celebrate with us. That evening we honored Sam Davis, Esq. as our Humanitarian of The Year 2015. He also received a Senate Resolution from Senator Gerry Cardinale.  DJ Ice aka Eric Isom did a fantastic job keeping the music live and people dancing.
