Go the Distance for Community Service

Our fellow Rotarian Jay Fowler and his daughter Heather Murray have agreed to “Go the Distance for Community Service” by running in this year’s New York City Marathon to raise money to help fund the charitable work of our Rotary Club.  This is a charity that I believe in and am supporting and I am asking you to join me in supporting this worthy cause.  Among other things, money raised by their efforts will help provide disaster relief funds (such as Hurricane Harvey), local scholarships, dictionaries for all third grade students in our service area, lifesaving heart surgery for children, support for an orphanage in Haiti, Social Services and support of many local not for profit organizations in our area.
