The Simsbury-Granby Rotary Club is pleased to announce $21,000 in academic scholarships for 2015! On June 18, 2015 the Simsbury-Granby Rotary Club awarded four $4,000 ROTARY SCHOLARSHIPS and one $5,000 ED DODGE SCHOLARSHIP – two $4,000 scholarships to two graduating seniors from Simsbury High School, two $4,000 scholarships to two graduating seniors from Granby High School, and one $5000 scholarship to a qualified student from either Simsbury or Granby High School.

On June 18, 2015 the Simsbury-Granby Rotary Club awarded four $4,000 ROTARY SCHOLARSHIPS and one $5,000 ED DODGE SCHOLARSHIP – two $4,000 scholarships to two graduating seniors from Simsbury High School, two $4,000 scholarships to two graduating seniors from Granby High School, and one $5000 scholarship to a qualified student from either Simsbury or Granby High School.
To be eligible for a ROTARY SCHOLARSHIP or the ED DODGE SCHOLARSHIP, the student must have been accepted into a four-year, degree-granting program at an accredited college or university at the time of the award. The student should also demonstrate a need for financial assistance to further his or her continuing education. Academic awards are based on:
- Community Service
- Financial Need
- Academic Achievements
- Activities in High School
- Employment during High School
- Obstacles - Special circumstances that the student had to overcome in High School

Ed Dodge Award of $5000
Emily Peer-Groves from Simsbury High School will be attending University of British Columbia
Academic Scholarships of $4000 each
Jessica Ouellette from Simsbury High School will be attending University of Rhode Island
Rebecca Rising of Granby High School will be attending Syracuse University
Nicole Huscher of Simsbury High School will be attending Cornell University
Josh Briere of Granby High School will be attending University of Connecticut
