Confessions:

  • Chuck, Joe A., and Rick enjoyed Jim Logan’s Roast I mean Retirement party on Saturday – Thank you for representing Kenmore Rotary

  • Ron L. has made his way back from Florida aka – Spring Training Camp.  While in Florida, he did offer up his services to assist with negotiations between players and the league.

Our guest speaker today was Cloe Wingeter who joined us from “across the pond” University of Oxford.  Cloe is studying for a year abroad and the Rotary provided Cloe with a grant last year.  Cloe reviewed some of the courses she is currently taking, she explained some language barriers she has had to overcome [minor but still…a challenge].  Cloe meets regularly with the Wallingford & Didcot District Rotary Club and interacts with other student Rotarians from the area.  She is excited about this opportunity and appreciates the support she has received.

Next week’s speaker – Nancy Wise-Reid
