·         Rotarians have provided scholarships for over 80 Pueblo West students to attend college - an investment of $200,000 + in future generations.

·         Rotarians, with cash and labor, were a partner in the development of Cattail Crossing, a centerpiece gathering place for our community.

·         Rotary is a primary sponsor of the annual Tom Sawyer Fishing Derby, now in its third year, serving up to 600 children on a special day.

·         For several years, Rotary has given a personal dictionary to every 3rd-grade student in Pueblo West, more than 400 books a year at a cost of more than $4,000.

·         In 2008, Rotary has initiated a relationship with the TherapeuticRiding & EducationCenter by granting a $2,500 scholarship for a child amputee.

·         Rotary provided funds to assist in the Joe Martinez Memorial that stands in front of Pueblo West Volunteer Fire Department headquarters.

·         Rotary built the $25,000 outdoor entertainment stage at LovellPark.

·         Rotary provided funds for the Golden Guardian veterans' fountain.

·         Rotary provides scholarships for Pueblo West students to attend the Rotary Youth Leadership Awards conference.

·         Rotary has supported the Infonics program.

·         Rotary provided emergency breathing apparatus for firefighters in the Pueblo West Volunteer Fire Department.

·         Rotarians have provided support for several youth groups, including the PWHS debate club, the PWHS choir, Pueblo West Boy Scouts and participants in the Soap Box Derby.

·         The Rotary Club of Pueblo West has been a continuing partner of the Guardian Angel Orphanage in Chihuahua, Mexico.

·         Rotary has supported the missions of Dr. Byron Beard to provide dental care for underprivileged children in Latin America.

·          Pueblo West Rotary members have been financial participants with Rotary International in a 20-year program to eradicate polio worldwide.  This historic global program is in its final phase, a three-year, $200 million matching-funds partnership with the Bill and Melinda Gates Foundation.
