Topic:  Colorado Parks and Wildlife has been working to secure property in Mesa County for the development of a world class sports shooting and education facility.  This potential facility just east of the Grand Valley would be a tremendous economic asset and allow for the education of our public with regard to the outdoors, shooting and our environment.  

Bio:  Albert Romero graduated from Colorado State University in 1998 with a BS in Wildlife Biology. Following Graduation, he worked for the United States Forest Service in Pueblo where he conducted vegetation inventory of the Pike National Forest and Comanche National Grasslands. In 2000, Albert began his work as a District Wildlife Manager. His first duty location with Colorado Parks and Wildlife was in Colorado Springs, CO. In 2007, Albert accepted a transfer in duty stations to his current district of De Beque, CO.
