BackPack Stuffing Par-Tay!

The Daypack Stuffing Party for the Griffith Centers went great on Monday!  We figured out an efficient system so that each person had a part to play in the stuffing.  There were ten Rotarians and two staff members from the Griffith Centers ready to help.  Jack and Peggy Houser joined us, and it was great being with them.

 

Jamie Sachtjen, Director of Fundraising at the Griffith Centers, is absolutely thrilled with the way everything worked out. She said that the students will be so grateful.  Thanks to Anna Kasischke, PRIME member, who made the cards that stated thatthe daybacks and contents were provided by the Rotary Club of Colorado Springs.  Thanks also to Ashlee Martin for helping to order the items and for providing space for us yesterday.  We were at Johnny Martin's Car Central.

 

A hearty thanks to all Rotarians who were at the party!  Jamie will attend our February 27 meeting, and I am eager for her to meet even more Rotarians who provide “Service Above Self” throughout our community and beyond.
