September 21st is World Peace Day and our club is a Rotary PeaceBuilder Club. Our speaker, Ray Naylor, will give a short review of Rotary International's involvement in promoting peace. He'll talk about what being a PeaceBuilder Club means for our club, and the genesis of the Rotary E-Club of World Peace. Ray will review the three Rotarian driven “International Peace Conferences” that gave rise to the E-Club. We will also learn what is going on in PeaceBuilding in the District. Ray has served in multiple positions in our District. Ray Naylor is a retired Engineer and a Veteran.
