  1. District Conference registration is open. It’s happening on 6 and 7 October. It costs $25 for registration and more for meals. If you go to the meals, there are excellent keynote speakers. Very worthwhile.  Our club has a booth in the Hall of Friendship (Doug May) and we are hosting a breakout session presentation on the Corazon project (Dan Watson).   3. Tucson Rotary Car Show tickets are still available for their car show on 21 October. $10 buys you entry to the show and a chance at winning a Corvette. We keep 50% of all money for tickets we sell. Ask John Oszust for tickets to sell. He has extra books.

Our speakers today were Diane Demeroutis and Wendy Guyton who shared valuable information on membership, why people join Rotary, why they leave and what satisfies them.
 
Next week we will hear from Fellow Rotarian Anne Harman, will talk about Tucson Sunrise’s global grant project to provide Game for the World, an HIV/AIDS educational board game to schools in rural Kenya.
