- Today's meeting opened with a moment of silence for Neill Deppe, a long time Rotarian since 1975. Neill passed on Monday of this week. There will be info on services planned when we know more.
- Our visiting Rotarian was Lynne Devou, who is looking to switch from her present Club to a Rotary club in our area.
- Jim Fry gave an inspirational talk on determination.
- Bill and Diane Demeroutis received "Rotarian of the Month" pins.
- We had the great pleasure of inducting another new member. We welcomed Linda Drake into our Rotary family.

- Kid's Closet supplies clothes for 1200 kids twice each year. The next event is every Monday, Thursday and Saturday. Contact Monica for details
- Monster Bash tickets sales are 102
- Monica's Rotary Ranch Boutique clothing swap is on 10 November. It's a fundraiser for the Corazon project. More info to follow.
- RC Tucson Car Show tickets are still available. Date of the car show is 21 October.
- Ride to End Polio 18 November. Website for donations is under construction.
- 21 October is World Polio Day, there’s a special District Zoom meeting. I’ll send out the link.
- Hygiene items for IMPACT are still needed. Collection will continue at every meeting.
- 14 October Copper Town Car Show. We will be selling Tucson Car Show tickets and handouts for scholarship info, etc.
- Dictionaries have been ordered. If you’d like to help with the handout to students, see Monica.
- District Grants are now available (Round 2)
- Turkeys for the IMPACT Thanksgiving handout have been donated by the Church of Latter-Day Saints.
- Bub's Grub is donating all the turkeys for our senior holiday lunch at OCC.
- Our guest speaker was Rob Lamaster, Southern Arizona Regional Director for Make-a-Wish Arizona who told us all about the wonderful things they do for children with severe illnesses.
