Werkneh “Werkie” Ourga

Werkneh “Werkie” Ourga, a young man who was born in a small village in Ethiopia where there were no hospitals, electricity, running water, or sanitary conditions.  He developed 10 pound tumors on both hands, and since his family could not take care of him, they took Werkie to an orphanage.  Werkie was elected to get medical help in the USA.  After returning to his native country, he had no place to go and ended up on the streets. But Werkie was one of the lucky ones!

Currently, he is attending Azusa Pacific University majoring in Marketing and he wants to travel the world to help people within the medical field, specifically selling medical devices and prosthetics.
