2015 01_15 Shelly Hoover + Check

 

 

Shelly Hoover was our speaker at the January 15th Lunch meeting. She spoke about "Her Journey with ALS."  And an amazing journey it has been. Shelly was previously the principal at Glen Edwards Middle School,  She started having trouble walking, and the disease has led to her lower extremities being paralyzed. She now gets around quite well using her motorized wheel chair (actually a bit higher tech than most!).
