DAY OF CARING
Annual Event Engages Hundreds of Volunteers in Greater Nashua
You can LIVE UNITED by volunteering for United Way of Greater Nashua’s 25th Annual Day of Caring on Wednesday, September 14, 2016. For one day each September, about 300 volunteers in Greater Nashua and the Souhegan Valley take the day off from work to paint and clean up facilities, read to children, deliver meals to home-bound elderly, and perform a variety of other services that area non-profit organizations often cannot complete due to lack of resources.
Dozens of businesses support Day of Caring in Greater Nashua by giving some of their employees the day off to volunteer. A representative at each company coordinates employee participation in Day of Caring. We also welcome individual volunteers from the community.
Non-profit organizations, please visit our online project submission page.
Back to Breakfast
All volunteers and company representatives should attend the Tailgate Kick-off Breakfast, which promises to be a fun way to start your day! Get your Day of Caring T-shirt, reusable water bottle, NFL schedule, and a fresh breakfast.
After the kick-off, volunteers should go directly to their assigned job sites.
Tailgate Kick-off Breakfast 7:00 AM – 8:00 AM
St. Phillip Greek Orthodox Church
500 West Hollis Street

Volunteer Jobs will run approximately 8:30 AM – 4:00 PM at Nashua-area non-profit organizations. Starting and ending times may vary by location.
