The Monadnock Rotary Club's annual holiday season get-together for the 2016-2017 Rotary Year will be held as a Post-Holiday Party on January 11, 2017. It is an opportunity for Club members to share an evening of fun and fellowship. During the evening we will be distributing proceeds of the 2016 Wellness Festival to organizations in the Monadnock region providing services in the health and child development areas. |

Dublin Veterans Memorial Flag Project

Prior to joining the Finance Department of the Robins School of Business at the University of Richmond, Leo Plante was the Goodyear Executive Professor in the College of Business Administration at Kent State University and a self-employed investment manager and venture capitalist. He has taught finance and economics at several colleges and universities He was formally employed in the investment banking divisions of Goldman, Sachs and Citibank. He is a graduate of Brown University and holds advanced degrees in finance, economics and ethics from Temple University, the University of Pennsylvania and Weston Jesuit School of Theology (Boston College), respectively. Leo is currently teaching courses in Investments and Economics at St. Anselm College in Manchester. He is an Army veteran and has been involved with the American Legion for several years. He is currently a member of Post 5 in Peterborough. Prior to that He was a member of Post 215 in Goochland, VA and Vice-Commander of Post 44 in Ridgefield, WA. Under the auspices of Post 44, 30 foot flagpoles and flags were installed at all four Ridgefield cemeteries. Leo will bring along copies of a newspaper article which describes our most recent flagpole installation at the Sara Union Cemetery in Ridgefield. Leo will speak about his plan to install a flagpole near the Celtic Cross monument at the Dublin Town Cemetery where we could assemble to honor the many Veterans interred there on Memorial and Veterans Day.
