Wonderful news - Josephina is back at school!

 

Your sponsored student, Josephina, has now started Form 5 at our Smith Secondary Campus. This year Josephina is in F5E. This is an important and exciting stage in Josephina’s education as she embarks on her A-levels. A-levels are the final two years of our students’ secondary education, and help set them up for tertiary education and beyond. We are very proud to see our students excelling both academically and personally and we hope you will join us in wishing them the best for these last two years.

We would also like to share with you how Josephina spent her break. We are so proud and impressed to let you know that Josephina spent the last 5 months volunteering here at school! Josephina has been working in our Library department. This opportunity has been a great character building exercise for Josephina and her fellow volunteers; giving them a behind the scenes experience of the school, and the chance to assist their fellow younger students. We are so impressed with how well Josephina took to her role, and how she has grown personally as a result. As an insight into their volunteering here at school, we have attached for you some photos capturing their time with us.

As you may be aware, we recently held our very first Form 6 Graduation, which was a very special day for all involved. We hope to see Josephina following in their footsteps and reaching her full potential in the coming years, thanks to your support and generosity.
