B. Scott Farrenkopf Rotary Biography

B. Scott Farrenkopf joined Rotary in 2006 and was an Interact President in 1980.  He is currently a member of the Rotary Club of Moorpark where he has served on its Board since 2010 and as its President in 2012-13.  At the District level he is currently the 2014-15 Assistant Governor of Group 5 and the 2015-16 “Onto Brazil” Rotary International Convention Chair.  He is a Paul Harris Fellow +3 as well as a Bequest Society Member Level 1.
B. Scott Farrenkopf has 31 yrs. of global experience in high tech. highly engineered products & services for OEM & aftermarket transportation, industrial, aerospace, financial, & energy business sectors.  He has extensive experience in the South American, Asian, & European markets including new product, line/cell, or plant launches in all 3 regions as well as in North America.  He spent 4 yrs. on assignment in Brazil & 4 yrs. in Mexico. While on these foreign assignments, he also had responsibility for Tech. Center operations employing up to 1800 people.  He has led engineering, operations, and P&L at companies such as General Motors, Delphi, and Schneider Electric.  B. Scott Farrenkopf is currently Board Director & EVP of GoTek Energy, Inc. which is a clean fuel rotary engine manufacturer and COO of Trimentum Management Partners, LLC which is a management consulting firm.
He was born in Troy, Ohio and lives in Moorpark, California.  He is married to Gisele Farrenkopf of Sao Paulo, Brazil.  They have two children, Gustavo and Gabriela.
