Rise Against Hunger

The Rotary Clubs of Goleta, Santa Barbara, Montecito & Carpinteria are working together to help end hunger.  Grab a friend and join us for our annual joint service project on Saturday morning, December 7^th. 

We’ll be doing hands-on work to assemble nutritious meals for distribution internationally. The assembly process combines rice, soy, dehydrated vegetables and a flavoring mix including 23 essential vitamins and minerals into small meal packages. These meal packages are shipped around the world to support school feeding programs and provide crisis relief.

Friends & family are welcome to join.  It’s a fun, feel good event and a great opportunity to witness Rotary in action.

What to bring:  Two non-perishable items for donation to the Santa Barbara County Food Bank.

And don't forget your "hat" or you can wear one of the lovely orange hair nets that will be provided.

Setup is 8 - 10 AM (heavy lifting involved)

10 AM to noon is when everyone needs to come to do the packaging. 

Table Captains arrive at 9 AM 

Bring canned goods to donate.
