Work-Day at the Central Coast Aquarium

          On Saturday January 27, 2018, we’ll have a Work-Day at the Central Coast Aquarium at 50 San Juan St in Avila Beach, the 2-story blue building at the corner of San Juan & Avila Beach Drive.   We’ll be painting a block wall that forms the perimeter of the grounds adjacent to the building and which will be the Discovery Park Outdoor Classroom.  The Aquarium  is a 501(C)3 non-profit whose mission is to educate, inspire, & create positive ocean-stewardship by offering programs such as the “Floating Labs” in San Luis Bay.  Last year, these were attended by 25,000 students from schools across six counties.   We plan to start about 8:00AM and will run for several hours.  Friends & relatives are invited, of course!
