Good Evening Rotarians of District 5240!“If you can dream it, you can do it”! This is the official theme for this year's Rotary District Conference, and if you've heard any rumors about this year's conference being combined with the 100th Anniversary of The Rotary Foundation Gala, we are here to confirm it! You won't want to miss this year's conference, hosted by District Governor Nick Frankle, and happening on October 14 - 16. This year, consider coming one day earlier and enjoy two tremendous fundraising events organized by two of our Group 4 clubs! First, on October 13, if you're a golfer you won't want to miss the 30th Annual Sunrise Rotary Golf Tournament, organized by Westlake Sunrise Rotary www.sunriserotarygolfer.com. And on Sunday, October 16, you will want to visit the Thousand Oaks Rotary's Street Fair http://portal.clubrunner.ca/1521/SitePage/thousand-oaks-street-fair at the close of the conference on Sunday.
This year the District Conference will be held at the Hyatt Regency Hotel in Westlake Village, and you will NOT want to miss this one.
