The U.S. Antarctic Program

The U.S. Antarctic Program, managed by the National Science Foundation, supports scientific research on the southern-most continent . . . research that cannot be done anywhere else on Earth. The Antarctic Support Contract (ASC), the primary logistical contractor for the US Antarctic Program, runs 3 permanent research stations, 2 research ships and multiple field camps. All cargo is shipped to/from Port Hueneme in cooperation with the US Military Sealift Command and the US Air Force.  Join us as we welcome Brian Brooks and/or Jackie Samuel from ASC Port Hueneme Operations, to learn more about supporting the US Antarctic Program.
