California's Marijuana Law and Ventura County

For adults over the age of 21 in California, it is now legal to use, possess and share cannabis, as well as grow it at home. They can carry up to one ounce of flowers or eight grams of concentrate without fear of arrest.  Many restrictions on purchase and use still apply. Even if marijuana is legal in California, marijuana remains a “Schedule 1” drug under the federal Controlled Substances Act; (drugs that have “no currently accepted medical use”). Attorney Panda Kroll’s presentation will focus on how California’s marijuana law impacts Ventura County employers and employees, as well as proposed “Bud and Breakfasts.”
