Bio

Will is the Chief of Operations for Catholic Community Services its NW agency. The NW agency of CCS is comprised of the 5 counties north of King County. He has been with Catholic Community Services for 11 years. Living in Bellingham since 1978, Will received his BA from Western Washington University and his MA from Antioch University in Seattle. He has been a part of the management team at CCS that has developed various programs to help the poor and most vulnerable in Whatcom County. These services include alcohol and drug treatment programs for youth and adults, children’s mental health, homeless services and services for those with basic needs, as wells as housing and the development of affordable housing.

Will is joined by Rob Van Tassell, VP of Community Development, to present a talk on Catholic Community Services approach to developing affordable housing. The discussion will include a look at the soon to be open new housing units on Cornwall Ave. and the soon to be developed farm worker housing on Bakerview Rd.
