TEDx Bellingham: Connecting Community & Ideas

Overview:   David Wiggs, Bellingham TedX Organizer, will speak on the TedX phenonomen nationwide, and how it functions locally.  He will address the concept of  Community Conversations, Connecting community and ideas, Bellingham 2.0 and TEDx as a hub for a broader vision for Bellingham

Bio:   David Wiggs grew up in Virginia, but he and his wife realized they were living on the wrong coast, so they relocated to Bellingham 12 years ago.  They started Signs By Tomorrow in 2003 and sold it in 2008. David moved on to other ventures, including marketing consulting, working in marketing at McNett Corp. and producing TEDxBellingham.  In his spare time, David plays the drums in a local band and tries to avoid yard work. Dave describes  TEDxBellingham as a gift, built for the community we love. He want to see TEDxBellingham grow and be a place where we connect to concepts greater than ourselves. Because ideas alone don’t change the world, but sharing them does.
