Rotary Car Rally:

Sunday August 19th – The instructions will be supplied at 3:00 pm Sunday at the gathering spot, WWU's big Lincoln Street Parking Lot, about a quarter-mile south of the of the Lakeway Fred Meyer, just past the Sehome Car Wash on the left.

Shine up your classic car or sporty convertible and get ready for the first Rotary Car Rally.

Teams will consist of a Driver and a Navigator (or two), and they will follow a set of instructions to reach the end destination, noting specific landmarks along the way and ultimately ending up at a restuarant for drinks and dinner with the rest of the teams.

Every rally entrant does need six things:

  • any car, any style or age;
  • two persons (a driver and a navigator);
  • a couple of pencils or a pen;
  • a clipboard;
  • a watch or clock;
  • and some paper for notes.

You can get a good idea of how rallys work by clicking HERE. Remember, the "time" competition is optional...if you wish, just follow the driving instructions.

Contact Jack Westford for more info or to sign up.
