Guy Lemieux ,President of Lex Engineering provided us with a behind the scenes history of the Columbia River Treaty and showed us how Wind Power is being developed and added to the BC Energy Grid conserving the use of water and reducing the overall cost of power generation. He showed us many slides of the Wind farm development and connections to the grid.We learnt a lot about how we get our electricity and how we make money by selling it to the US and buying back when rates are lower.
