Here is his Bio.
Marco Giovanni Pasqua was born on July 4, 1985, a date that began his fight for a “normal” life. Marco only weighed 2 lbs. 10 oz. was 3 months premature and he was diagnosed with Cerebral Palsy.

Despite facing adversity since day one and enduring more than 13 surgeries as a child, Marco’s parents raised him to believe that no goal was too out of reach, and no challenge was too hard to conquer. They enrolled him in horseback riding when he was only 3 1/2 years old and Marco soon discovered he excelled at sports.

He decided to compete in the BC Summer and Winter Games for Athletes with Disabilities and since 1994 he has won 22 Gold, 10 Silver and 2 Bronze Medals in Track and Field, Swimming, Horseback Riding and Basketball.

When he was only 10 years old, Marco was invited to be the ambassador/host of the Timmy’s Christmas Telethon with Red Robinson, which is when Marco first spoke in front of a large audience. He was a natural!

After graduating from the Art Institute of Vancouver, he built his own brand as an Inspirational Speaker, and has graced the stage at TEDx, The United Way, and The Duke of Edinburgh Awards. In August of 2013, he was recognized for his work in improving business practices, while contributing to the betterment of society and was named “Entrepreneur of the Year” by the Self-Employment and Entrepreneur Development Society. He has helped to build brands such as Reality Controls, Rick Hansen's "Planat" Online Community and Hunky Haulers. Through these successes, at the end of 2014, Marco was nominated for BC Businesses “Top 30 under 30” awards.

He is driven by seeing firsthand the power that a positive outlook can have on a person. By sharing his story, he wants to continue to change perceptions of what is possible and share with everyone how to get there!
