Current Trends in implant Dentistry

Our Speaker on Oct 7th. was Dr Joy Maru Speaking on current trends in Implant dentistry. 
He is one of the team of 8 dentists in Central City at Surrey Place Dental Group.He provided an overview comparing old

methods to current methods and showed us before and after photos explaining the process and time required to complete

the restoration.

He explained the changes in technology including CBCT ( Cone Beam CT)which provides a radiation dosage up to 100 times

less than regular CT scans have enabled these procedures to be less invasive and considerably more exact.

The presentation was very detailed and these few words do not do it justice. Once again we learned a lot from our featured speaker.
