Once again, we need your support to help clean up Heritage Mtn. Blvd. this coming Saturday February 20th, 2016.  BUT this clean up will be SPECIAL.  We will not only clean up Heritage Mtn. Blvd. BUT we will clean up Bert Flinn Park as well, BECAUSE we will have the help of the PMHA Bantam A2 team.
This is what the 'Game Changer Challenge is' and we have a wonderful opportunity to help...BUT we need you to come out this Saturday.
This is what we have been asked to help with:

The team have asked if we would be able to participate in the Scotiabank Game Changers program.

Game Changers is a program that Scotiabank has with the Vancouver Canucks that aims to bring community hockey teams closer to the NHL game and their favourite team. Sponsored community teams will volunteer in their community, have the Canucks film their volunteer initiative, and in return, Scotiabank send the team to a Canucks game where a video on the jumbotron features their hard work. The initiative strives to highlight the special experiences of feeling part of a team, gaining skills, and paying it forward by lending a hand to their community.

The opportunity requires the sponsored team to conduct a volunteer activity of their choice the weekend of February 20/21, which the Canucks would be on hand to film. Along with giving our group of seventeen 13-15 year old boys the opportunity to get involved in their community and help your organization, the Rotary Club would be featured in this footage.

So as you can see, this is a win, win situation for the Team, for the Community and for our Rotary Club.  Thank you again for your continued support of keeping our Community Clean.

Hugs
