What a GREAT day

Once again this year our 5th Annual Shred-a-Thon was a huge success.  The community is so grateful for this service and we had so much fun talking with everyone and promoting our
Rib-Fest....A win win for everyone.  
 
I would like to thank once again the City of Port Moody for their tremendous support and partnership and to the Tri-City News and the Now for getting the word out to the public and especially to BEST Shredding for their on going support.  Time and time again we heard from the residents how much they appreciated our service of Shredding.  We filled the truck to the brim and more !!!!
 
We had so much help from our Club :  Gayle, Dan D, Dan G, Ann, Vida, Trudy, Peter, Lucie and myself wielded carts around, broke down boxes and talked with all the residents who dropped off shredding.  
 
[some people will take shredding from the bottom of the barrel] AND some will take an expired 'donation'.
 
I heard from many that the Rotary Club of Port Moody is so 'visable' in our Community and how they appreciate what we do.
 
Thank you to everyone for your support.  This is a very busy time of year and to have this many people out helping is a true testimony of the Spirit of our Club.
 
 
We had a record year and it is always great fun to go to the St. James' Well and count our money.
 
Over the five years we have raised in just 20 hours of work $14,541.17.
