Dan Gallant spoke about Rotary world Help and they have done 447 containers around the world, to 66 countries. 12 to Ukraine, where 2 more will be sent this month.
Danne Dunlop told about Pie day at Eagle Ridge manor . Once a month 6 pie’s from Thrifty’s are donated and the residents love these pies. Thank you Danne for representing our Rotary Club each month.
Environmental Meeting at Cleone’s last night. She will send out minutes.
Heritage Mountain cleanup was Saturday. We meet at Gallagher’s each month at 9:00AM sharp.
Westhill Project is in the final stages and they took Drew Westler was there on the weekend from Rotary International.
Cameron from the Bandits Basketball invited us a Rotary night to the home opener in Surrey on Sunday July 9th at 5:30pm.
Alan K thanked everyone for the successful Search for the Perfect Pint , with over 600 tickets sold and over $30,000 raised
Guest Speaker: Rob Theissen city of Maple Ridge, consultant for The Hub.
This is a program to help the homeless and provide Social Safety Initiatives for addictions , social help and lunch 3 times a week in Maple Ridge.
Business Group is involved and they have funding from the Federal Grant.
Got 40 people off the street last year in Maple Ridge.
They are making the streets safer and helping the local businesses .
Looking at putting the same program in the TriCities.
13 local businesses are involved along with the Rotary Club in Maple Ridge.

This was the pickup at Walmart in PoCo. 142 boxes in total; Bill and Brian took 18 to Moody Middle (6), Moody Elementary (3) and Seaview Community (9). The PoCo guys distributed the rest.
