I wanted to give you all a quick update from the 25th Annual Pan Pacific Christmas Wish Breakfast we participated in this morning.

Once a year before Christmas, people from around the Lower Mainland come to the Pan Pacific and drop off toys and cash donations for the Lower Mainland Christmas Bureau. We load the toys and haul them to the bureau, where they are sorted and inventoried for families that could use them over the holidays.

This was our 7th  year participating in the event, and we are happy to report that this was our biggest haul yet!

We ended up filling a pup, 20’ container, 9’ container and cube van with donated toys. We also had to put some overflow in Russell’s truck, as well as the in the sleeper of the tractor. Based on what Glenn Pii scaled last year, we estimate that this year we collected about 25,000 lbs. in toys. The bureau also received over $20,000 in cash donations.

Below is a picture of the team that was present at the event. Thanks for all your help! I also want to thank Scott Moore who helped organize our end of the event.
