Dave is a professional skateboarder with an incredible story of surviving a plane crash in the mountains of Squamish, BC! He is known for his contagious passion for life and his unique speaking skills and we were very fortunate to have him speak at our Rotary Club.

Dave Jonsson with a new way to arrive as a speaker to our weekly Rotary meetings.
Dave is promoting 'Skate Under Cover'. Admittedly he took a group of folks (us) who (collectively) have spent very little time skate boarding and created excitement around his idea to Skate Under Cover. Most importantly skateboarding can create community - and now that it is an Olympic sport - there are real opportunities to provide facilities for elite level training and experience. And yes, it does rain it Port Moody. Imagine the impact of a covered skate park.
