What TEAM WORK!
With slight trepidation this year, as this was the first time the Holiday Train came into Port Moody on a Saturday, earlier than other years, and heavy  rain forecasted.
We set up expecting fewer people.
WOW Were we wrong, We broke another record collecting  $1,238.70. for the Food Bank. We got through about 14 large tins of  Hot Chocolate mix, in fact we ran out and used about a 1,000cups!
We didn't stop from 2-45pm to around 6:00pm.  The success of the evening was due to fantastic Team Work by, DAN GALLANT &  DAN DUNLOP who made several trips to get Hot Water, DAVE STONE & JEANIE TRASOLINI were mixing Hot Chocolate to have another Urn ready for serving, TONY WHITHAM was making sure we had cups ready to serve, as well as interacting with the public,  ANN HULBERT was our official photographer and VALENTIN was serving all night, I can not say enough about our young Exchange Student, his coordination, hard work and his friendly
personality to the public was second to none.

Big Thank You to THIRFTY FOODS for the new Urns and cups and The St. James Well for their donation of the Chocolate Mix. Thank you to Chris Leon of the City of Port Moody for her organization to set it all up for us. And Thank you Browns-  Stuart Vetter- for the Hot Water

This is what Rotary is all about! Giving back to our Community
