Announcements:

Peter is really needing help with Rotary reading..if you can give 1/2 or so once a month for this gratifying project..please let him know. He also reminds us that the Rotary "Shop" is open..if you need any Rotary wear or other merchandise ..let Pete know.

Anthony has very kindly stepped up to help co-ordinate our Club's support for Hike For Hospice.  It is on Sunday May 3rd.  Some will be at District conference..but if you are here and can spare a few hours that day..please let Anthony know as soon as you are able .. he will appreciate the support.

Search for the Perfect Pint..please let Gayle know how your ticket sales are going.  If you have spare tickets that you can not sell..return them to Gayle..please dont pass them to other Club members as it makes it hard to track them.  We are getting close to this event so be sure to help in anyway you can. Ian C advises we are now about 18 confirmed breweries.  Great work being done by this group as well..

District Assembly was last Saturday...we have our minimum 5 people registered, which is great.  Al drove ;o)

Gayle is looking for people, especially new people to help with Installation dinner. For some reason..Trudy cant help this time.

Our program today was presented by Al and Ian...all about RibFest.  We need everyone in the Club to help out ..committee leads are already working hard ..please pick a committee to work on.  We had reports also from Julia (Family Zone) Scott (media and PR) Lucie (Beer Gardens) and  Gayle (Rib Runners)...who did I miss??

We also need lots of volunteers for the weekend...so please spread the word amongst your friends and contact that we would appreciate their help greatly. They need to register on the website.

With much thanks to Ian M and Al S and their leadership team..what a great job!!

President Alan is back next week..yeah!
