It ignited a passion within me for cultures, languages and travel.
I cannot thank the Rotary Club enough for giving me the opportunity to travel abroad! The year in L’Aigle, Normandy was truly life-changing! It ignited a passion within me for cultures, languages and travel. Moreover, it gave me confidence and taught me adaptability and determination. To date, I have traveled to over thirty five cities, visited twelve counties, and studied in Canada, Russia, France (twice) and Japan. I have graduated with distinction from Capilano University obtaining a Bachelors of Business Administration Degree and an Advanced Diploma in International Business.
Since returning from my last university exchange to Japan this past August, I’ve been actively career-hunting. I have an extensive cross-cultural, leadership, customer service, marketing and event management experience. I am fluent in English, Russian and French; beginner in conversational Spanish and Japanese. I was wondering if you or any of the other Rotarians have heard of any openings in companies that might benefit from my experience and skills set? While my true passion lies with the international, I am open to other possibilities in order to “get my foot in the door”.
