ROTARY: Shred-A-Thon

What a great Fundraiser we had this am......So many people made this possible.  

Thank you to the City of Port Moody and Gaetan Royer for the Venue and then help from the City....what a perfect place to have such an event. Drive in, drive out.....very well organized.

Thank you to Best Shredding who came with their 'truck' and shredded people's personal documents 'on site'.  Some people wanted to watch as their 'very' personal information was put into the bin and shredded right there and then.

Thank you to the Tri-City News and the Now Newspaper Group for their support for Rotary. They were amazing with the exposure that they gave us.

Thank you to all the Rotarians who took time out to come and volunteer for the morning to help and to those who spread the word for us and those that brought their 'shredding'.

And of course to all the citizens who brought their shredding and donated to our cause.  With this money we will be able to send more Kids to Camp and help with the other projects our Rotary Club does.

A special thanks to a gentleman who came by with his 'shredding' and then came back later with coffee & donuts for all the volunteers.  PEOPLE ARE AMAZING.  Thank you

We shredded 6,214 lbs of paper and made almost $2000.00.  Thank you, thank you, thank you.
