Rotary Meeting October 22nd, 2014
One of the favorite meetings of the Rotary Club of Port Moody are the Classification talks and this week was excellent. Our own Tom Babbs did his classification [once again] and we found out more and more about this great guy. Thank you for sharing Tom.
We had a few guests this week. Terry Miller joined us for the third time and we all know what that means ;o) Good to see you again Terry. Also Councillor Gerry Nuttal joined us as a guest of Gayle's and 'in place of' LOA PP Jon, we had Angie come to the meeting. Angie is going to join us each week and what a welcome addition to our club.

Tues. October 28th - Please come to City Hall council meeting when Al and Ian present the Rotary Rib Fest to Council. We need a huge crowd from Rotary to come PLEASE.....7:00pm. We are first on the agenda, so we can leave as soon as presentation is over.
November 13th, 7:00pm - Ribfest meeting - address to be supplied next week
November 14th, 6:00pm - Preliminary 'set-up' for Eagle Ridge Manor decorating
November 15th, 10:00 - Decorating the Manor. Always a fun day.....we need help 'inside and out' to put up trees, decorate them and put up lights outside.
November 15th is the Foundation Dinner in Whiterock. If you are planning on going I think there will be a car pool....
November 16th - Random Act of Kindness Scavenger hunt with the Rotaractors. We need a good strong team.....Only a couple of hours to see if we can do all the Random Act's of Kindness on the 'list''
December 10th - Joint Christmas Party at the Burrard....7:00am - $15.00 all four Rotary Clubs.
AND one of the favorite days is December 18th, Inner Visions Chili lunch. Sign up early....One of the Best activities you will do over the Christmas season.
This 'is' a busy time of year, BUT oh so much fun!!!!
