What a great meeting !!!  Although we have several members travelling the world and away this week, we seemed to have a full house and it was as lively as ever.  President Elect Alan had a 'trial run' today as President Jon was away.  He did a great job and we 'will' keep him !!!
 
Lots of information given this morning, but most important is that Lucie Honey-Ray and Sonia Kozell were proposed as new members and will be Inducted next week.  Both woman are very dynamic and will be a great asset to our Club.  Please come to the meeting next week to welcome them to our Club.
 
Dan Gallant's birthday was this week and we sang boldly to him....and Gary very graciously gave his Birthday Money for his Sustaining Paul Harris....
Installation night is coming up very soon  [June 12] bring me your money for your guest.
 
Shred-a-Thon is June 7......9-1pm....please come out and help....always a good time.  Port Moody City Hall.
 
Peter is still looking for volunteers for the Seniors Reading Program and Ron spoke also saying for that 1/2 hour of your time you will be rewarded 10 times over.
 
Lots of guests this week:  Past members Steve Gable and Chris Vowell were there.  So good to see you both.  Michael Nelson came to the meeting again as well as our guest speaker AJ Caleb and Khayhaugg Wasike

Good news:  Go on District 5050 website and sign your company up on the Networking Plus site.  Now we will all know what business' our fellow Rotarians are in and we can support them.

The Dynamic Duo of Keith and Mike were Sgt. at Arms today and had a brilliant 'Fine or No Fine' !!!  Good fun!! As well as look who is sitting at 'What used to be' the Women's Table???
 
Cleone is looking for sewing machines to send in our African container.  Please put the word out as we need before June 7.
 
Our Guest Speaker this week was AJ talking about Rotary at Work - hiring the disabled.  What a great, great project for all business'.
 Walgrens, Tim Hortons and Tony Romas are great examples of hiring disabled and how good it is for the 'bottom line'
