PE Patty gave a summary of the March Board report: All welcome to attend any board meeting and
Minutes are also available at request.  We did also pass funding of $18,000 for July 2016 Kids Camp
and $5000 for the Belize Container. One community request for funding was denied based on criteria
but Trudy advises she has suggested they consider a possible future request that would be more
capital or equipment costs based.  We also approved funding for a Rotary decal on the door
at the new Comfort Lounge at the Manor.

Our Guest speakers were Bob Bell, Superintendent of Utilities, Engineering and Parks for the City
and Paul Leblanc, Utilities Maintenance Supervisor.  They explained everything you could want
to know about our local water supply..where is comes from, supply management, how it is treated for
safety, and how it is delivered to our homes.  It was a fascinating look behind the scenes and reminded
us, as was so fitting for Water and Sanitation month, how truly fortunate we are to have access to
a safe and secure water supply.  A great presentation about an important local service.

Trudy 's weekly thanks included Brian for organizing our last Heritage Mountain Blvd clean up and
to everyone who came out to load our Belize container last Saturday..it should now be on its way
to Halifax for shipping to Belize!!
