Guests:  Alan Stebbing, son of our PP Nick.
Alan very graciously came to let us know of
his Dad's current health.

No Birthdays/Anniversaries reported.

Today was a Club Assembly and much
Club info/updates were shared:

Patty commented on how great we are doing and also encouraged
everyone to complete the current District membership engagement/
satisfaction survey. Only a few days left to give this important information
about members overall satisfaction with the Club.

Scott advises that we should all stay tuned for a pending announcement
from ERH!!  Exciting news for our community!

Al invites everyone to join Trudy, Kathy  and him at at fun night bowling with
Rotaractors in Abbotsford...April 7. $15 for a ticket..will support the Starfish
backpack program. Let Al know if Interested.

MIke reported we have 13 people attending District Assembly!! A great
turnout. If you need to carpool...meet at the Rec Centre at 7:30 am. Keep
Mike's cell phone in case of any last  minute issues..please let him know.

Ian advises he has had great interest in the International Committee.  He
plans to call a meeting in the next 2 to 3 weeks.

Peter reports that all is going well with SFPP..still room for more
Sponsorships.  We now have our first Platinum Sponsor..yeah!!
Lots of work continuing..22 breweries confirmed, 6 food
sponsors.  The TriCity News plans to run a contest with
2 tickets as the prize...a  great ticket sales promo!!
Trudy is handing the few remaining tickets back to
Gayle and we will be doing a tally of the solds/paids soon!
Great work team!!

Alan gave a report on Club finances. He recently renewed
our term deposit as is required for our RibFest 50/50 ticket sales.
He reminded us that we are committed to setting aside
25% of RIbFest profits for a legacy project.
Most of our current funds are now spent or committed..so no new
grants will likely be considered this year. With the exception of a recent
$1000 grant we have committed to the PCCRover Scouts..a group of mature
young adults that are pledged to help with Ribfest Recycling.
Our Community Grants page needs an update to reflect: changes in timing of
applications, no individuals, no fundraisers
and no slalaries.. Trudy will do this.

Trudy announced that the Board has agreed to make left over RibFest
aprons available to Club members for $10 each.  This is meant to
replace the current loan system for our remaining Club aprons. Please
consider buying one for yourself.

RibFest update.  Lead by Al, Trudy, Ian and Alan have populated the new
volunteer registration software with a first draft of jobs and shifts.  If you are
a team leader..you will need to review and work with Trudy to refine. Thanks
so much to Al for leading this!

Planning is underway to encourage attendance early on Friday..offering
incentives to groups and starting live music earlier.
As mentioned earlier, Bill is happy to have the help of the Rovers in re-cycling.

Club Service:  Bill presented a refresher on the roles that need to be filled every
meeting by each team...for room set up/take down...greeters, guest speaker
intro and thanks..notes etc.  He is trying to work out a more regular photographer.

He is also going to need help to plan the TriCities Joint Christmas party as
it is our turn this year. Also considering other social events..please let him
know if you have any suggestions or would like to help.

Gayle also will soon need help to plan the Installation Dinner. It will
be on June 22 this year.

Hope I did not miss anything!!

Did you know that members can view Board meeting minutes in the
documents section of Club runner? Thanks to Linda for posting them
faithfully for us.

We are busy!! We are doing great things..you are all very amazing.
We prove that a great group of individuals can accomplish so
much together!!

Ann is looking well and happy and nice to have Gayle back from Hawaii.
