Rotary meeting January 21st, 2015

We had lots of guests this week.  Welcomed were Mike's wife Christine, Byron Harker from France, guest of President Alan [who became our Guest Speaker], past member Chris Vowell and guest for the 2nd time is Anthony Corsetti and fellow Rotarian Barrie Seaton.  
 
President Alan read an update from Cleone and non of us were surprised to hear that she is having a great time in Peru, working and playing as only Cleone can.
 
Peter thanked everyone for their help at the Christmas train and our President Alan surprised Peter by giving him a very well deserved Paul Harris Award.  Congratulations Peter, you make us all proud of all the work you do for our Club.
Tickets are available for SFPP and we are of course still looking for sponsorship.  This is a great event and one that any sponsor would be proud to support.  Please ask your 'people'.
 
Dan has given a 'shout out' for Mugs and Dishes for Innervisions.  Please bring next week so he can drop off.
 
Byron Harker was our guest speaker and told us of his life's adventures.  He and his wife live in France and have apts. [Gite's]  they rent out in a small town about 2 hours south of Paris..  I think everyone of us went home and looked to see when we could go and visit them.  Very well done and thank you Byron.  If you are interested please go to their website at:
