In the summer of 2009, the Rotary Club of Port Moody with the finacial assistance of the Province of British Columbia were able to send 72 children to Camp Jubilee at no expense to them or their families for one week. For many of the children, this was their first time camping. The children spent a week at the camp hiking, canoeing, swimming, learing about the enviroment and many other fun activities. All the children had a fantastic time just getting to be kids and trying new sports and activities, many for the first time. Thanks to Dave Duckworth and his staff of councellors. They made a difference in the lives of the children as well as all the Rotarians that went to the camp to assist and have fun with the children.
