To promote the idea of EREY (Every Rotarian Every Year) District Governor Jane Helten has authorized the matching of donations to The Rotary FoundationAnnual Programs Fund in the month of March with TRF points.
A message to all Rotarians from Foundation Chair, Bill Robson regarding Rotary Foundation Matching Donations during the Month of March
My fellow Rotarians:
To promote the idea of EREY (Every Rotarian Every Year) District Governor Jane Helten has authorized the matching of donations to The Rotary FoundationAnnual Programs Fund in the month of March with TRF points. This effectively shortens the road to your first Paul Harris Fellow recognition or your next Paul Harris Fellow recognition. In other words for a donation of $500 you can receive a Paul Harris Fellow recognition.
This is for individuals only and not for club donations. If your club sends in funds on your behalf this counts but the funds must be directed to an individuals TRF account.
The minimum is $100 but there is no maximum. Donations to the Annual Programs Fund include regular donations made through TRF Direct.
EREY (Every Rotarian Every Year) is one of the two goals in Foundation towards achieving the Presidential Citation, the second being US$100 minimum per capita in club contributions to Annual Programs Fund.
This program, offered by DG Jane will help all clubs achieve that PresidentialCitation.
For Canadian Rotarians the exchange rate for March is PAR.
Please forward your donation confirmations to me at william_robson @yahoo.caand I will ensure that the points are credited to your TRF account. Obviously to enable this I will require your full name, your TRF identification number and the amount you have donated. (your TRF number can be found either on your Rotary profile or on your Rotarian magazine address label)
Please note: the donation must be made in March and it must be to the Annual Programs Fund on behalf of an individual.
