Rotary: Exchange student update October 26 - Henriette

...........Halloween is coming, and that is something I've never celebrated before like it's done here.
As if it wasn't enough to see the other exchange students last weekend (and it wasn't), I went to Chilliwack this weekend to visit the German exchange student, Johanna. It was the perfect chance to do it, because I had a day off on Thursday (professional day in school). We had a lot of fun, going to the cinema to watch a horror movie with the boy from Spain, Iñigo, the French boy, Robin, and another boy and girl from Johannas school. We also spend time with the Japanese girl, Moka and the Italian girl, Valeria, on Friday night, and we all had a lot of fun! That way I of course also met Johannas hostfamily. Very nice people who made amazing Canadian breakfasts for us - I certainly enjoyed that!
I didn't get home until Sunday, but when I got back I was very tired! I'm looking forward to this week though, because Halloween is coming, and that is something I've never celebrated before like it's done here.
