We've got plans for some new, fun and unusual events during next year's
District Conference to be held in downtown Vancouver BC at the Four Seasons Hotel from May 30 to June 2.
Registration for the iRotary District Conference will be available as of September, but we thought you would like a preview of one of those events: The Rotary Flash Mob To End Polio Now!
Imagine 500 Rotarians, Rotaractors, Interactors, RYLA/YAIL grads and many others suddenly breaking into song and dance in the heart of downtown Vancou- ver. The dance will be videotaped for YouTube, and we have a business plan to maximize hits and to then direct viewers to Rotary sites. The video director is Bobby Bonsey, who has created Flash Mobs in places such as Seattle, New York and Russia.
