2.0 Minutes from previous meeting approved as circulated – moved by IB seconded by RB - approved
3.0 Reports:
3.1 President: Odyssey of the Mind looking for volunteers – will circulate request to all members
Port Moody Library Foundation is looking sponsorship – Ron Baker moves that we auction off the golf spots at a meeting seconded by Steve
3.2 President-elect: SFPP had a meeting recently – we have received the liquor license - approx. 300 tickets have now been sold. Westwood Honda have 5 vehicles on display. Now have 13 brewers. Cash sponsorship at $8500. Brochures are being printed. 50/50 draw and door prizes at the event.

Attendance for February 73.5% pins have been ordered

Setting up online banking with HSBC – Try to be in place for next month – Statements for April are not yet available
3.5 Rotary Club of Port Moody Foundation: Gaming account money is intended to pay towards the Kids Camp for this year approx. $8,500
4.0 Committee Reports:
4.1 Club Service: Trudy – recommend that the club be divided into 4 groups – each group would be responsible for a week’s worth of duties – suggest that Al S start this plan for the new Rotary year.
4.2 Community Service: Cleone update – Hike for Hospice was a success – but donations were down from last year
Port Moody Centennial committee wants us to be involved in the parade and perhaps a picnic.
Kid’s camp – Coquitlam Club will sponsor 18 kids – Kids camp from July 6th – Saturday to Friday – Rotary members is invited on the Sunday. Berit Fashion show money will be used for kid’s camp. Budget will be prepared when she returns.
4.3 International Service: Isabella Beane – loading a container on Saturday for South Africa
Computers, books, hospital equipment etc. Budget and plans are ready for next year – to be presented to the new board

4.6 Public Relations: no report
4.7 Vocational Service: Steve – with the teacher’s on a work to rule campaign – dictionary distribution will be done later – perhaps in June. Dictionaries are stored in Dan Gallant’s garage. For next year – the labels can be ordered in double quantity to save money. The club’s can now order the dictionaries on their own – the bulk pricing no longer exists – cost is $2.00 per dictionary.
