Here are his notes:

Thank you Yvonne for taking the photos.

Peter went to 'Build a Biz' kids on behalf of our Rotary Club.  This is his report.

I attended SEAVIEW SCHOOL,  to hear students stories for a public speaking course.

The stories were varied — every thing from recycling to global warming.

These young students were outstanding, some more nervous than others, but all good! Congratulations to the leaders heading up the ‘BUILD-a- BIZ project, they were so supportive
to the students.

Congratulations to all the students for working so hard on their speeches and over coming their nerves!!!

Oreo An  "Interact member" was also there and gave a very informative opening speech on Rotary and the positives of joining the Interact Clubs for teenagers. He was truly spectacular!

Raise for Rotary – Another Opportunity to Support Ukraine

Raise for Rotary is a Rotary Foundation fundraising platform that provides clubs and districts an avenue to create fundraisers that support The Rotary Foundation.  Some benefits of this platform include:

  • Empowering Rotary members – Raise for Rotary is a custom-branded platform that’s integrated with our existing online giving system. This makes it easier to create a fundraiser that supports specific Rotary causes, such as the areas of focus, fighting polio, or disaster response, and it expands our reach on social media.

  • Giving donors recognition credit – Donors who give through Raise for Rotary using the email address they use for other Rotary functions, such as their My Rotary account, will receive Rotary giving credit and recognition.

  • Minimizing fees to do more good – External fundraising platforms all have their own fee structures, rules, and guidelines. By creating our own platform, we can process gifts more efficiently and accurately. And that means more of the funds donated go directly toward Doing Good in the World.

We send our Condolences to Peter Tudhope's family.  Peter was a light in our Rotary Club.  He championed the 'Wheel Chair Project' for many years.  If you ever bought a Honda, you might have met Peter.  Peter always had a smile and gave the best hugs.  He passed at the young age of 93....  Peter you will be missed by many.
